He rolled his eyes when she mimicked him and then grinned when she called him boring. He didn't mind being called boring. It was better than a whole lot of other things that she could have called him. And really, if his worst fault was that he was boring, then that was saying something.

Settling in as she popped in the Botts and then jumping when she made her exclamation, he listened to her instructions carefully eyeing the beans in the bag. He much preferred them one by one and would never finish one he didn't like. See? Boring. But he wasn't always. If she were to ever see him dressed in one of his hunting outfits and moving through the brush looking for some of the dangerous magical creatures his uncle took him to hunt, she might find him quite exciting. The thought brought a small smile to his face before he was taking a handful of beans, looking right at her with a bigger smirk and then popping them into his mouth.

He chewed slowly and then made a face, though he didn't stop chewing. "Liver," he explained, managing to chew and get them down. If there were any other offensive flavors, he wasn't tasting them past the liver one. He handed the bag off to Anna. "What did I miss? Today? I mean...you were upset about something. I know that," he said, quite aware that he was poking at the dragon, but willing to take the chance now that they were actually enjoying each other's company. "I just don't know what. I know you don't think much of me," he added, "but I would like to help, even if it's just to listen."
