A normal conversation. That was all he wanted right now. A normal one. With Henri. Where they talked in normal tones about normal things. No catty remarks from her, no snide comments from himself, because even he was sometimes tired of always being at someone elses throat. And right now he just didn't have the energy for it. All of his energy was going to have to go toward figuring out what to do about Sabrina.

And now he had an added problem on his hand in the form of the young woman at his side. He wasn't going to give anything away to her. Nope. He wasn't going to do that. Alexander was smarter than that. He knew the value of silence unlike Trent. However, he also knew that saying nothing could be just as harmful as saying something.

He ran his tongue along his lower lip, cursing that he had been caught. And by Henri especially. Once more he spared a glance in her direction, trying not to show how his heart had sped up and he was suddenly feeling more trapped then ever. "What do you want me to do?" he asked her, "deny it? Admit to some grand thing that is going on between the two of us? Hate to break it to you, love, but that's not going to happen. There is nothing to admit. Sorry."
