Davy wasn't entirely sure just why it was he'd sent off a letter to Silence asking her what she was doing during the Hogsmeade weekend, but he had. She'd been a lot of fun to talk with the last few times he'd run into her and, as he was heading out to Hogsmeade to check on...to see...Delity, he decided that it would be a good idea to see if Silence wouldn't mind some bit of time.
He'd secured the day off at work by trading a few night shifts with another lad, which then resulted in him getting very little sleep and thus, even as he popped into Hogsmeade, he was stifling a yawn. It was nice to be in the sun of Scotland, though. Back in London it felt like it had been raining since the beginning of time. Grinning broadly, he made his way down High Street, waving hello and stopping to talk with a friend here and there. He was supposed to meet up with Silence for another thirty minutes and so he decided to look about for Del first.
He'd not found her by the time he was supposed to meet Silence and, tucking away that need, he made his way into The Three Broomsticks. Looking around, he saw her over at a table and gave her a jaunty wave as he wove his way through the crowd. Plopping down, he rubbed a hand through his hair.
"Gotta say, I'm rather pleased you consented to meeting me. I'm sure there are a million other things you planned to do besides spending time with a bloke you hardly know."
