It was near 2 am when Seraphina apparated into the old Travers’ manor wearing Tobias’ skin. She carefully laid down the large bottles containing the crimson blood. It had gone faster this time. There wasn’t as many experimental cuts. Anyca had still wept and demanded why he was doing this to her. She screamed too, so loudly that it had made Sera’s ears ring. She rather enjoyed that part but it had meant that she needed to keep applying the silencing spells in Tobias’ house where the blood letting had taken place. She enjoyed being the reason that the young woman’s body had bulked and writhed as she struggled to get away from the sharp edge of the knife.
Anya had been so easy to lure away. All ‘Tobias’ had to do was tell her that he need to see her and that he was having second thoughts about the wedding. That bit had made Sera giggle to herself. It was delicious how easily people were manipulated. When the girl had shown up at his shop during the early morning, a stunning spell had hit her before she was ever the wiser.
Seraphina winced as she peeled off the man’s shirt. She had made the mistake thinking that Anyca had been unconscious before the woman attacked her with her wand. Sera had to hex her again and disarm her which had been pretty easy as Anyca was still somewhat sedated under the former hex. She checked her image in the mirror. Long blood encrusted gashes marred Tobias’ check and neck. She hissed a little with pain as she prodded the unfamiliar cheek.
She turned on the tap and the old pipes in the manor moaned and hissed like demented ghosts before reluctantly releasing water into the claw foot tub. She finished striping out of the bloody clothing. She took time to examine Tobias’ body in the full length mirror. He wasn’t bad looking. David had been handsomer but then again, she prefered David’s looks to just about anyone else’s.
“Here I always imagined you a bit bigger. Shame that,” she told Tobias’ penis. It didn’t that the original owner wasn’t here to overhear the insult to his member. She looked up at her reflection and Tobias stared sardonically back. She had never liked Tobias even if he was the right class of wizard. The Slytherin Head Boy had strutted around the school like a rooster. He had lousy taste in girls and never would look her way. Shopkeepers were good victims in general. All that hair around their shop made for easy pickings. She had frequented it using the disguise of Eloise’s landlandy. She had gotten some common ingredients for polyjuice as well as other potions as to not raise suspicion as well as some of his hair that had been shed near the check out. She had then made her way to a few other shops and collected hair from one other shopkeeper.
Balling them up and grabbing the shoes, she pushed through the door into her room. She tossed them into the fireplace before using her wand to light them on fire. She leaned against the mantle, ignoring the acrid smell from the burning leather. She could just imagine her aunt coming in and seeing a very naked man in her room. She’d flip. Seraphine smiled at that. Or would she think that Seraphina was finally getting over David? That thought made her lip curl. She flounced angrily back to her bathroom and turned off the water. She lowered herself into the white tub, slowly attempting to acclimate skin to the hot temperature slowly. The water swirled pink as it picked up the remnants of mostly Anyca's blood before turning clear once again.
She lifted a masculine foot out of the water and examined it. Long hairs clung to her legs making her itch for a razor. As she watched, her skin bubbled and shifted. The pain made her cry out and drop the leg back into the water. Soon enough, her own body appeared and she sighed in relief. Well, that was over. She was never going to transform into a man again if she could help it. The extra height, bulk and his appendage had made the transformation far more painful than when she was Eloise’s landlandy. Never again.
If her calculations were correct (and they usually were) Tobias would be stumbling upon his former girlfriend in a couple of hours. His portkey was supposed to activate early in the morning. She was still alive, not by much, but it didn’t really matter one way or the other, did it? Tobias going on honeymoon was a good piece of luck. Him coming back (as told to her by one of her sources) was even better. He had a nice little wedding gift tied up in his shop. The knife that was used was also conveniently stashed in his chest of drawers in his bedroom. So was the robe that she had picked from his closet, splattered with Anyca’s blood. That was bunched up and hid behind a grate. Anyca’s broken wand would be found the rubbish bin in his shop. ‘Tobias’ had tried so hard to clean his mess. If the aurors weren’t complete idiots, they would find plenty to arrest him on. It was such a shame that all of his staff were dismissed for holiday while their boss was away screwing his new wife. They might even have able to testify to his innocence. She smiled at that.
She reached for her soap and hummed happily as she scrubbed the bits of blood from underneath her fingernails.
