Former House: Slytherin
Wand: 15, Unicorn tail hair core, Ivy, Supple (6)
Bloodline: Halfblood, but thinks hes Pureblood.
Date of Birth: November 26th, 1959 (Sagittarius)
Physical Description:
Braeden stands at a lanky height of 61. His physique is somewhat admirable, for although he does not participate in any sports, he has somehow managed to maintain muscles that are tightly wound over his lanky frame. This can probably be chalked up to the high metabolism of any teenage boy, but nevertheless its pretty impressive. His shoulders are moderately broad, and his limbs are long and toned. His stomach is flat and although he does not work out, his abs are slightly defined, probably from all his random bursts of energy that leave him practically hopping off of walls.
His complexion is rather dark for someone who is supposedly a pureblood Irish wizard. Braeden seems to have perpetually tanned skin, a light shade of golden brown. He does spend a lot of time outdoors, but come on now, Ireland isnt exactly a good place for sunbathing. His golden skin can be owed up to his biological mother.
Braedens face is very expressive. His eyes are large and framed by thick black lashes, they are a very pretty blue in color, with swirls of steely grey intermingled. They tend to darken when hes feeling lust or anger, and shine when hes happy or after hes been crying. His nose is slightly too large for his face, but this does not take away from his general cuteness. His lips are full and soft to the touch; they are very sensual looking and below them his chin is nicely rounded.
His hair is thick and dark, usually worn somewhat messily and tousled just because hes usually too preoccupied to brush it in the mornings. Braeden keeps his chin cleanly shaven for the most part, although sometimes hes too distracted by other things to do this and can sometimes be seen with a little stubble on his chin.
Brae likes to wear muggle clothes, especially jeans and hoodies or simply t-shirts. Hes not really big on robes because he finds them restrictive and uncomfortable. Most of the time he doesnt put much effort into dressing nicely, he simply rummages around his floor and finds something to wear, or hell just decide on the first thing that looks all right on him. Colour wise, he is prone to wearing neutral colors like navy blue, white, grey, or black. Braeden has a rather nondescript voice, it is simply an alto, but it does sound very kind whenever he speaks. He has a faded Irish lilt to his voice, but it's not as prominent as it once was because he's lived in London for a while now.
Personality Description:
Braeden is a very unusual mix of pessimism and optimism. Ever since he was young, he's been torn between liking things, and hating them. His parents, for example, are a perfect example of this. Throughout his childhood, they were always there for him. But not in a "you can talk to us about anything honey, we love you" way; not emotionally. They were always around, but never paid him much attention unless it was to criticize him. His childhood was spent being largely ignored by them, unless of course, he did something wrong and earned himself a good telling off. Despite their coldness, he tried his very best to make them proud of/happy with him.
When he came to Hogwart's, Braeden tried this method for a little while. He spent most of his time studying and trying to attain high marks, thinking that this, perhaps, would make his parents pay him a compliment. It didn't work. No matter how well he did in school his parents paid him no attention. So in his fourth year, Brae got it into his head to go the other way. He remembered from his childhood that they would at least speak to him when he did something wrong...so maybe that's the reason he turned to things like drugs and alcohol as a way of 'acting out'. Several howlers from his parents did nothing to stop him, and soon he forgot that he was doing it to piss them off...in fact, he really enjoyed the lifestyle he'd become accustomed too; drinking most of the night and then sleeping in late, missing his first classes. Needless to say, those formerly good grades suffered in a big way. But he was too far gone to care, really.
Despite the fact that many people passed him off as a loser or a drug addict, (even some of those in his own house) Braeden maintained his cheerful demeanor. He'd never been the kind of person to take his frustrations out on others. He was always willing to chat to anyone no matter what house they belonged to, no matter if their blood was pure or not. He was very friendly and spontaneous, plenty of fun to be around and not the least bit shy; he acquired friends quite easily. Of course, underneath this happy outlook Braeden was really the opposite of what he seemed. He is not happy-go-lucky or carefree, he instead is convinced that hes alone and abandoned, which of course makes him very unhappy. He still struggles to maintain a good relationship with his parents, he thought that by informing them hed marry the girl they chose for him, he could somehow make them love him. So far, nothing much has improved on that front.
But he pushes those feelings of unhappiness far away from his exterior and pretends he is fine. His cheerfulness is marred by soaring highs and crashing lows, both of which are caused partly by drugs and partly by his depression. His future wife scorns him for these antics and thinks hes quite despicable. Needless to say, there is no love lost between them. Hes never been diagnosed clinically, but Braeden is almost the classic example of someone who suffers from depression. One moment he is happy and talktative, the next moment hes crying and dejected. All in all, no one can ever complain that an evening spent with him is boring. If anything, Braedens emotions and his mood go from one level of intense to another. Lately his ability to fake happiness had been on the decline, it is common to see him in an unhappy daze, distracted and unresponsive to his friends or anyone else who tries to talk to him.
Brief History:
Born to Julius and Eileen Wilkes in Dublin, Ireland on November 26th, Braeden spent the first ten years of his life living in Ireland. They moved their family home to London after this, probably so that Julius could be closer to one of his mistresses, although he claimed it was for his work.
Julius was rumoured to have had a number of affairs. One of these happened to be to a muggle Italian woman named Maria Drisio. Maria is Braeden's biological mother, but because she was one of Julius' affairs, no one outside of Julius, Eileen and Maria know that Braeden is really a halfblood, not a pureblood as he originally thought.
The Wilkes are a pureblood family of moderate wealth. Julius works as a Wizarding Attorney, and Eileen is a stay at home mother/wife.
A short while after Braeden recieved his Hogwart's acceptance letter, the family moved to England so that Julius could live near his newest lover, Aitana Laraine Pelayo (mother of Chasity Pelayo). Nowadays, Eileen barely sees her husband, he always claims to be "working" on something or another, but she suspects that he's having another affair.
Braedens parents arranged a marriage for him in his sixth year of Hogwarts; he would be marry Gwendolen Montrose once he graduated from Hogwarts. For a while he debated what choice he would make, but finally decided that he would go against their wishes and be with his girlfriend, Alannah Morgan. However, in September of his seventh year, an edition of the Rumor Rag reached his parents and they discovered about his girlfriend Alannah and immediately arranged a meeting with him.
A huge fight because of this provoked him to change his mind, for he was so desperate to please his parents that he decided to accept his arranged marriage, and broke up with Alannah. A short while after that, his parents cancelled the wedding between Braeden and Gwen when they discovered that their future daughter in law was actually not so pure. However, it took them only another month to find a new fiance for him, and so for a little while he thought he was out of the woods, but in fact he is still engaged, just to a different woman now.
Meanwhile, Braedens regrets have been gnawing steadily away at him. He cant stop thinking about Alannah Morgan, even though he knows its wrong to do so. So now he has to make a choice, will he marry the girl his heartless parents have picked out for him, or will he try and beg Alannahs forgiveness and hope to hell she takes him back? Only time will tell!

*=deceased
Braeden has two half sisters, Roxanne (age 13) and Bridget (age 18 ) . Their mother is Eileen.
Important Relationships:
Julius Wilkes: Braedens father, a man whom he does not relate to very well at all. Julius is nothing but cold towards his only son and clearly favors his daughters.
Eileen Wilkes: Braedens mother, a woman who seemingly goes out of his way to make his life miserable. Eileen never has anything positive to say about her son, she has nothing but criticisms.
Roxanne Wilkes: Braedens youngest half sister, a constant source of frustration to him, as little sisters tend to be. However, he is pretty close to Eileen and whenever he is home on holidays this is the sibling he spends the most time with, even though half the time she is very annoying.
Bridget Wilkes: Braedens eldest half sister, Bridget is a know it all and although Braeden has nothing against her, he dislikes her snobbish attitude and avoids spending time with her unless he absoloutely has to.
Alannah Morgan: To put it very simply, the girl he is in love with. Alannah is the best person in his life, as far as he is concerned. She is one of the only things that makes him truly happy. However, he broke up with her in an attempt to make his parents happy with him. Now he has to make a difficult choice, and even if he does decide he wants Alannah and not some random girl who his parents want him to marry, there is always the question that Morgan will refuse him.
* I know I had a lot more relationships before, but I only kept the ones I was sure were still around! So, more to be added later!

Roleplay Sample:
He paced the living room, his hands clasped behind his back and his mind reeling. His mother had not reacted well to whatever owl shed just received. Her eyes had flashed dangerously after reading the first paragraph, and it had only gotten worse the further she went on to read. By the time shed finished, Eileens lips were pursed tightly together, and her steel grey eyes were practically on fire with pent up anger. Braeden had left the room, deciding it was better to leave her in there than to try and discern what treacherous things such a scroll could contain to make his mother react so badly.
He stood looking into the fire, his mind racing through possibilities. Braeden could think of nothing hed done that she didnt already know about, except maybe his fondness for illicit substances. But surely that wouldnt get her in such a rage; she was practically an alcoholic anyway. He realized the naivety of his thoughts; just because she was allowed to drink didnt mean he was, how silly of him to think so. However Brae didnt think she could have found out about all of that, he never came home drunk or high or anything, so it must have been something else.
As if giving testimony to his earlier thoughts, his mother stalked into the room with a martini in her hand. She took a gulp of it and practically threw the letter at him. Braeden fumbled awkwardly and caught the scroll, looking at her with confusion.
Dont be stupid, darling, She snarled, eyeing him as if he was a particularly disgusting breed of insect, she took another sip of martini, Read the cursed thing.
He nodded dumbly and opened the paper, his eyes scanning the words hastily, hoping to avoid seeing his mother in a fit of rage. The contents of the letter were not really a surprise to him. It was from one of his mothers stupid socialite friends, and even the tone of it sounded ridiculous to him. It was a letter warning his mother of his bride to bes faults. Braeden glanced at his mother, wondering if he should fake outrage. Gwendolen Montrose was apparently not a good little girl like his parents had thought. Brae wasnt surprised; Gwen was calculating and sly, he was not startled to read such words written about her. He didnt care anyway, Gwen hated him and he was a good cry away from ever feeling anything but intimidated when around her.
Did you know that your fiance is a little harlot, hmm? His mother drawled coldly from where she sat, legs crossed imperiously at the ankle, her back ramrod straight and her eyes narrowed with calculating cruelty. Braeden would have to answer carefully; his mother was like a cobra, liable to strike at any moment.
I didnt know, but Im not surprised, He told her slowly, trying to make his voice sound as icy as she was. Eileen said nothing, but simply glared at him as if this was somehow his fault. Braeden wanted the ground to swallow him up and deliver him from such uncomfortable, frigid conditions. Unfortunately, nothing happened, he just stood there, frozen to the floor as his mother tore the letter from his hand, giving him a paper cut in the process. He winced slightly, his eyes following her as she flicked the scroll into the fire and downed the rest of her martini. She turned back to him and scoffed.
No matter, well just find someone else to burden with you, She said calmly and gave him a tight lipped smile, her eyes cold enough to chill the blood in his very veins. Braeden stared at the floor, looking anywhere but at her. Eileen rolled her eyes, as if suddenly bored of him.
Get out of my sights, you pathetic She stopped and shook her head, as if she couldnt even be bothered to insult him anymore. He said nothing, but simply darted past her. Braeden walked down the hall towards the stairs, uncertain if he should feel relieved or not. He was no longer engaged to Gwen, that was apparent, but on the other hand, his mother wanted to find someone else. The devil he knew was probably better than the one he didnt, he thought haplessly as he trudged up the stairs, contemplating what fresh hell his mother would find to torture him with this time. Whoever she was, Brae was sure that shed be equally (if not more) heartless than Ms. Montrose had been. After all, his mother lived to terrorize him.
How I heard about PI: Well, I roleplayed here before, but before that, I think a friend recommended it!
