Physical Description:
Lola has short dirty blonde hair that is cut to be layered. The layers are shaggy and are kept that way so she does not have to spend much time on her hair. She likes to be able to just wash it and go. Lola cannot understand how some can spend hours on end on their appearances. Lola believes it is a waste of time really. She is not really that concerned over her appearance. She is much more of a tomboy than anything else. But perhaps she does not worry about her appearance because she knows that she usually looks good. Lola has never really had doubts about the way she looks.
Her eyes are a pale blue hue that in certain lights can look much darker. The best compliment she ever received from a guy was he said her eyes reminded him of the ocean. She took it as the ultimate compliment because she loves the water. Swimming is one of her favorite pastimes. The rest of her features could be described as defined at best. There are not really delicate since the only delicate thing about Lola is her height. Which by the way is a very sore subject. Lola really wishes she were taller. She is not ugly by any means but she is usually not considered a beauty of our time either. Lola has more of the girl next-door vibe than a beauty queen one.
Her skin tone is fair and she has combination skin. Lola does not tan well and burns easily if outside without any protection. The only good thing about her skin is it is fair and she has never really had to worry about acne. That is a good thing because Lola knows next to nothing about makeup. In fact she has to get Genevieves help if she needs to wear makeup. If it were left up to her she would most likely look like a clown. But if she can help it she prefers to not wear makeup. She would much rather people find her attractive by really seeing her instead of seeing her through layers of makeup.
Something that really irks Lola is her short height. She stands at an unimpressive height of 54. But do not let her small stature fool you, she is quite the firecracker and feels she could take on anyone that got in her way. Lola was blessed with a very curvy figure and has a fairly large bust. One that she does not mind showing off. Her style is really all her own. But if it were to be classified it could be said that it has a rock star chick vibe. She prefers clothes that are tight and revealing. Lola thinks it makes her look older. It drives her mad that people think she is much younger than she really is. But all that usually changes when they hear Lola speak. She has a pretty dirty mouth and likes to make others uncomfortable
Personality Description:
Above all else Lola is an outgoing woman who loves nothing more than to have a good time. It is her daily mission to seek out fun and excitement. She highly dislikes routines and gets bored easily. It is hard for her to really focus on just one thing at a time. That is why she does not do well with a lot of tasks. If something does not interest her she does not really want anything to do with it. And once something has lost her interest it is very hard to gain it back. Although, she has improved and is not as bad as she was during her childhood. At least now Lola tends to finish things she starts and tries to give her very best effort. She has come to like being praised for doing things well. It was something she never received in her childhood. Being accepted is really important to her, although, it is not something she would ever admit.
Words can often get one into trouble and that often happens to Lola. She is very outspoken and does not have that voice that tells her not to say something. Instead she says what she feels and worries about the consequences later on. Also she has the knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. Emotions are not really her area of knowledge. Lola is not the type to pour her heart out and moan and cry over things. She prefers to handle matters on her own, which usually means bottling up the emotions and not dealing with them. Therefore, she works very hard to not get emotionally attached to anyone else. She has serve commitment issues and never really has had a serious relationship. Her longest relationship has been two weeks, which felt really long to her. Lola believes in getting in and out before the guy can hurt her. Perhaps one day someone will be able to come along and handle her relationship problems. But she is unsure that anyone could love her the way she wants and needs to be loved. Lola needs someone who is patient and understanding. Sadly she usually falls for the bad boy. Someone that she knows for sure will treat her bad so then she does not feel bad about ditching them. It takes a lot for her to feel connected to someone.
One of her major flaws is her intense, very intense jealousy. Lola gets jealous so easy and then does crazy things. She constantly jumps to conclusions and never stops to think rationally and consider all the facts before she starts doing something. For example, once she thought the guy she was seeing was cheating on her. So she followed him around for two whole days. Then the first girl she saw him with she jumped out and screamedHow could you!? Later she found out the girl was just his sister and that was why he was hugging her and kissed her on the cheek. It is safe to say the relationship ended badly and was her worst breakup to date. She actually hopes she will never have to see him again.
This all ties in with her lack of trust in others. She just feels that people cannot ever be trusted. If given the chance they will stab you in the back. Lola likes to have superficial relationships and friendships that are based on fun and not emotionally revelations. In addition, Lola is very demanding and expects full attentions to be on her. Another reason relationships do not work well for her. She expects so much and gets angry when she does not get it. Although, the anger is not something is barely if ever shows. She keeps her emotions locked tight. She has been called heartless quite a few times in her life. It hurts her deep down of course but she buries that too. She plasters on a smile and pretends she finds it funny. Humor is her saving grace. The more jokes she cracks the more pain she usually is in.
For the most part, Lola is a very happy person who almost always sports a smile. She generally loves life and is forever determined to live it to the fullest. She simply does not have time to fret and worry about the wrongs that have been done to her over the course of her life. She enjoys trying many new things that push the limits. Lola is not one to know when she has gone too far. Lola is carefree and believes that things will work out in the end. Thinking this is one of the few things that really comfort her. She does not let things get to her that easily. Worry and stressing over matters is not her style. It is something that drove Professors at Hogwarts insane. Lola was never one to get deadlines and have things done on time that were asked of her.
Also Lola would not be the one to discuss serious matters with. She would simply shrug off the stress and simply stateCalm down it will be all right. This is one of her mottos and she says it often. She just misses the point of discussing matters that make one cry and fall apart. Why wouldnt others want to discuss things that made them happy and feel good? A lot of her thought patterns could better match that of guys than girls. Lola cannot stand talking about her feelings and where a relationship is going. Anything that requires great consideration on her part does not work for her. She does not want to think of the future and does not care what may or may not happen. She lives in the moment and worries about consequences later on.
A part of Lolas more sensitive side is she is a dreamer. Lola greatly enjoys the realms of fantasy and usually prefers it to harsh reality. At least in her dreams there are always happy endings. There are no tears and no one to tell her she is wasting her life away. Also she tends to believe in things that others would think are utterly false. Perhaps that is why she believes in them for that simple reason. Lola is a woman that strives to stand out and be different. Being compared to anyone else makes her very frustrated. Lola likes to think of herself as a one of a kind. Someone that would not be easily forgotten or look passed.
To those who have earned Lolas hard to gain trust; she is loving and supportive. Lola really does like to see those she loves and cares about succeed. And if she can help in anyway she will. One person she really wants to see make it is her niece Genevieve. Lola loves her so much and does not take well to Genevieve being hurt. Lola and Genevieve act more like sisters than anything else. They are only about six years apart after all. Another person Lola really cares about is Genevieves best friend, Charli. Both girls have qualities that Lola has. Such as: Being outspoken, bold, loud and wild. Lola is really the ultimate wild child. Rules did not mean much to her in her youth and still do not to a point. Lola hates to be restricted and puts few limitations on her life. Life is much too short to fret about what others are saying and thinking about you. Lola could care less what others think of her. As long as guys find her irresistible she is fine.
A bad habit of Lolas is she bites her nails. She bites them whenever she is actually stressed or nervous which happens more than most people would think. Lola has tried just about everything to stop but has not been successful. She also has a habit of twitching her nose slightly. She is never aware when she does it and does not know why she does. But it usually occurs when Lola is thinking hard about something.
One of Lolas biggest fears that lie deep within her is not being heard. She has a fear that others will ignore her and move on. They will tire of the complicated disaster that she is and leave her all alone. Sometimes she feels like she is in a room filled with people, screaming at the top of her lungs and no one even bothers to see what is wrong with her. She tries desperately to not push others away but it is so hard since she gets scared. There are many high walls built around miss Lola. Walls that seems daunting. Her biggest desire is for someone to come along, shake her and loudly proclaim that they are not leaving her no matter what she says or does. It would be the ultimate acceptance. One that every heart should know and feel.
Brief History:
Saul and Prudance Warwick were promised to wed each other at birth. The pair finally met when they were seven years old. Saul was instantly turned off by the proper and stuck up witch. He hated to think of having to spend his entire life with someone like her. But he was one that stuck to his commitments and he hated to disappoint anyone, especially his own father. He also figured that he could find some good in her. Saul believed that everyone had to have good in them it just took longer to find it in some people. Prudance's own opinion of Saul was not much better. She found him foolish and cocky. She hated the match with all her being but knew it was something she had to do. Purebloods do not tend to have much say in whom they wed. And it was hardly if ever for love. But that was okay because Prudance did not really need to be loved.
At Hogwarts, Prudance was sorted into Slytherin, which was not shocking in the least bit. Saul, on the other hand, was sorted into Ravenclaw! The shame was almost more than Prudance could take and she vowed to pay back the Slytherins who had laughed at her about it. To make matters even worse Saul flirted with every girl that came along. Prudance tried to ignore all the comments that others made about his experiences. It made her so very angry. And Prudance was not one to get angry.
Two days after they graduated, they were married in an over the top wedding. It was an event that was talked about for months. Anyone who was anyone attended the ceremony. It was the event of the year. Saul knew deep down that he would never love Prudance and that hurt him most of all. Even more than the foul words that she threw his way. He would never have thought that he would have to marry without love. What was the point? This was enough to make his almost bolt of the place when it came to say I Do but Saul knew he had to stick it out. Perhaps once they were married Prudance would be better. But she wasnt, in fact she grew worse if that was at any way possible. She was a dreadful woman who only cared about herself. But Saul didnt know that Prudance was falling madly in love with him and it broke her apart to know that he didnt feel the same way. Therefore, she tried to push him away and be as cruel as possible to try and make the feelings go away.
Then to Prudances utter horror, it was not long into the marriage before they were having children already. Prudance had never wanted children so she would never treat them with motherly love and care. The only plus for Prudance is she saw this as a way for her to really hate Saul because he had been the one to do this to her. Their first child was a boy and they named him Malcom, their next child was another boy and they named him Jacob. The child after that was another boy, which they named Elijah. Finally their last child was a girl and they named her Lola Ann. Saul was overjoyed at the arrival of a daughter and could hardly wait till she was old enough for him to teach her all kinds of things. Saul had always had a weak spot for girls after all and this little baby stole his heart. She was beautiful and such a joy to be around. Prudance, on the other hand, hoped that Lola Ann would become a dignified lady like herself. But that was never destined to come true. Lola Ann would be one of the biggest of all disappointments for Prudance.
Lola Anns childhood was an enjoyable one whenever her mother was not around that is. Her father was another story all together. Lola Ann loved him but Saul was barely if ever around and Lola Ann never knew why. It was a good thing that Lola Ann never knew the dark things that Saul had gotten him into. The main attention that Lola Ann received from her mother were what Prudance called, lessons. The lessons were usually horrible things that Lola Ann would have to find a way out of. Prudance said it was a way for Lola Ann to get strong and not have to depend on anyone. One of these lessons was to teach Lola Ann not to display any of her emotions. Prudance did not tolerate crying and any time Lola Ann did so she was fiercely punished for it. By the age of eight, Lola Ann was very skilled at hiding what she was feeling. She had become a rock and that worried her father. Saul did not want Lola Ann to become hardened and unfeeling like him believed Prudance to be. But for once Prudance was proud of Lola Ann and that made Lola Ann want more of that acceptance. In all Lola Ann did not really have a parent figure to be important in her life. She spent most of her time with Elijah who took care of her.
Friends wise Lola Ann could only associate with Purebloods. Therefore, she did not have as many friends as she would have liked. She hated it but pretended it didnt matter to her. Most of the time Lola Ann felt hollow and empty. If things could get any worse Prudance began to tell Lola Ann horrific things about the dangerous of the world. Prudance told Lola Ann that if she did not listen to everything she was told then she would die. Lola Ann was terrified of death and thus tried to listen to everything that her mother told her. The hate she felt for her mother grew more and more everyday.
Thankfully, the empty feeling started leaving Lola Ann at age eleven. This was the year she received her very first Hogwarts letter. Lola Ann could hardly believe that she was really accepted and would be able to get far away from her dreadful mother and brothers. Except Elijah of course he was the only one who didnt torment her and make fun of her. Even though the Warwicks are well known for their vast wealth, Lola Ann could only have second hand things. Prudance said it was to keep Lola Ann from being a spoiled brat. It didnt bother Lola Ann much all she wanted was to get to the school. Hogwarts equaled sweet freedom to her. The only thing Lola Ann feared was being sorted into Slytherin. She associated her mother with that house and wanted to be nothing like her at all.
At the sorting ceremony Lola Ann was placed into Gryffindor. It had taken the sorting hat a long time to sort her but none of that mattered to her now. The very first she did was make sure no one called her Lola Ann. She felt the name was to sugary and girly sounding. No she wanted to only go by Lola now. Lolas first three years were spent making friends and causing trouble. Lola was quite the troublemaker and loved the thrill of the risks. She liked everyone to know when she had done something. She even liked the punishments she received because of the deeds. She was the detention queen. A title she hopes will last many years. Her best subjects were: Astronomy, Herbology and Charms. Her worst were: History of Magic, Potions and Arthimancy. Lola hates anything that has to do with numbers. And with Potions she melted more than her fair share of cauldrons. She would not have passed History of Magic if it had not been for her friend who tutored her.
In Lolas fourth year, she made the Quidditch team and played as the seeker. She became the captain in her fifth year. Lola found out she would have been a Prefect if she had not caused so much trouble all the time. Her grades were decent and most of her Professors said that if she tried harder she would have been the top of her year. Lola just did not really apply herself, which most found a shame because it was clear she was a talented girl. She just chose to use those talents for more devious activities.
Her last two years were filled with more troublemaking, a string of flings with numerous boys and Quidditch. The only thing she hated was graduating and having to leave the school that she loved. In her seventh year, the worst event of her life happened. Her father was killed and no one seemed to know how or why. Lola broke down but couldnt cry. She was numb and felt above all betrayed. How could her father leave her when she needed him? She felt like she now had no one to turn to. She was alone and didnt know how to deal with that.
After graduating from Hogwarts Lola left for Romania to study dragons. She stuck with it for a year. After that she became involved with Muggle Relations to further anger her mother. The thing that made Prudance the angriest was Lola was not promised to anyone yet. It was an absolute scandal in Prudances eyes. When she grew weary of that career she landed a job at the Ministry. However, she did not last there long because it reminded her too much of her father who had often spent his time there. After that she became a bartender for various bars. The energy of the bars made her forget her pain and her past.
Currently she has made one of her biggest dreams come true! Lola now owns her own club namedFlight of the Hippogriff. Finally she is committed to something and is truly happy again. Sadly Lola had to get the money from her evil mother. Lola knows that one day she will be very sorry for taking the money and using it.
Important Relationships:
Saul Warwick~ Father: Saul Warwick has been deceased for five years now. No one still knows what all was involved. Lola had really loved her father even though he was not around as much. At least when he was around Prudance couldnt be that bad to her. Lola is still angry with her father for leaving her.
Prudance Warwick~Mother: Prudance is her cruel mother. The mother and daughter do not get along at all. They fight constantly and Lola really does not like her mother. They do not ever agree on anything. Lola wishes her mother would just give up and let her live her life but she knows that is not going to happen. Prudance is not one that lets go easily.
Malcom Warwick~Brother: Lola highly dislikes Malcom. He is foul in her eyes. He tortured Lola when they were children. He enjoyed seeing Lola cry especially when their mother was around to see. Also Malcom would do things and say that Lola did them so she would get the punishment.
Jacob Warwick~Brother: Just like with Malcom, Lola does not get along with Jacob. He also made her childhood not a very fun one. Jacob liked to take things away from Lola. He delighted in seeing her in pain and hurt. It was twisted really. Lola prefers not to have to see Jacob.
Elijah Warwick~Brother: Lola loves Elijah a lot. The pair gets along really well and Elijah was the one who protected Lola. Anytime Elijah was around the duo could not harm Lola. Lola always found it curious how Malcom and Jacob never messed with Elijah. It was odd because they were older than Elijah but you would never know with the way they acted.
Genevieve Warwick~Niece: Genevieve is one of the few people that Lola really talks to about things. Lola really wants Gen to succeed and helps her anyway she can. Lola does not take well to Gen being hurt at all. Anyone who messes with Gen will have Lola to deal with.
Dante Mulciber~Complicated Lola really, really likes Dante. There is just something about him that interests her a lot. Lola just does not know how he feels about her. He is one of the hardest people to read. She hopes that some time soon he will let his guard down a bit so they can get to know one another better. Just the sight of him makes her heart skip a beat. It is something that has never happened to her before.
Caradoc Dearborn~Very complicated Lola is not sure what to think about Caradoc. He is harder to read than Dante. Something she never thought would happen. Yet there is also something that interests her about him. He seems to have a sense of sadness. If nothing else Lola just wants to get to know Caradoc. She wants to know what he is all about.
