Thinking on her presents, the blonde's hand trailed over a wooden box, her slender fingers opened it to look inside. Her parents had sent her a bit of birthday money, and told her to buy what she wanted for the special day.
So durring her wait for Gideon, while he and Fabian did something, Holly had stopped by Scrivenshaft's, buying a new set of quills for herself. Green and blue feathers tipped with gold. The girl looked over her new quills, picked one up and tickled it over her hand. It changed it's color depending on how the light hit it. She was so entranced by the feather that she didn't see Gideon approach until he was practically sitting down.
The seventh year looked up with a grin. Replacing the quill and closing the top of the box.
"Hey Gid. Did you have fun with Fabian and Brandon?" She reached for the tea pot in the middle of the table, pouring them both a cup, not being able to keep a look of amusment off her face.
It was the image of her boyfriend in the frilly setting. He just seemed out of place. Oh, it wasn't that he minded taking her here, or that he was uncomfortable. Just he had an edge to him that prevented him from blending in.
"Marlene and Athena made me promise not to drink to much tea. They said if you ruined their night with me that they couldn't be held responsible for the trouble you boys would be in."
