Rhett could be a pretty vain person at times, every so often taking longer to get ready than most girls took, but it was usually only for special occassions that he took over an hour. Given, he did spend a lot of time on a daily basis messing with his hair in the mirror. But he couldn't help it if he were blessed with good looks. It was his duty to maintain them, not only for himself, but for the rest of the world to be able to bask in his glory. Okay, maybe that was a bit over the top, but he was good looking and he knew. Tonight, for example, Rhett had taken an extra long shower. Not only because he wanted to be well freshened up for his date he had with Hestia tonight -- or if you could call it that, he wasn'texactly sure WHAT it was and suspected Hestia felt the same -- but the extra time in the shower was what he needed. He felt his tense muscles slowly start to ease and loosen up as he stood in the shower and let the warm water roll down the back of his neck.
By the time he got out of the shower, Rhett still had a good amount of time before he needed to be at Hestia's to pick her up. He dried himself off and pulled on a pair of black slacks and slipped on a black leather bet with a silver buckle. Rhett then pulled on some socks and his usual pair of black shoes. Next, he pulled on a dark green fitted long-sleeved shirt and put a casual black blazer on over it. He tucked his wand into the waist of his pants and covered the top sticking out with his shirt. Rhet decided not to put much effort into styling his hair tonight and just wore it plain and combed straight. He then grabbed his keys and with one last look in the mirror, headed out, locking the door behind him. Rhett left the Keswick Estates and headed down the street in the direction of the Lowell Flats. It was around dusk and the sun was beginning to set, leaving an orange smear across the horizon.
On his way, he passed by a little girl selling flowers. He paused for a moment and gave her a few coins from his pockets and picked out a stem of white orchids. Rhett smiled at the girl as she thanked him and ruffled her hair before continuing on his way. He whistled to himself as he walked along the streets and soon enough he was walking up to the front of the Lowell Flats. Rhett walked up to the intercom system and pressed the button by Hestia's name. There was a buzzing noise and a slightly confused look came upon his face. These odd Muggle flat buildings were terrible confusing. Unsure of what to do, Rhett held down the button and spoke into the speaker. "It's Rhett?," he said a bit hesitantly before releasing the button, wondering if that was even how the contraption actually worked. If not, he was making a complete fool out of himself.
