House: Hufflepuff
Year: 6th
Physical Description: Grace isn't used to her look ever since her sister decided to make her over last summer. She's about 5'7" with long legs and weighs in a little more than 115 lbs.. She had her bright red hair permed into tiny spiral curls and her makeup habits "retaught" to her by a professional. Now that she's in school, she stays away from makeup. She has a small oval face with a sprinkle of freckles. Her eyes are a gorgeous shade of bright green. You could call her a good-looking Irish girl! She's often been called gorgeous, though she's too shy to admit that.
Personality Description: Grace is not exactly what one would call a scholar. Her grades are poor with an occaisional good marks on easy exams. Most teachers would say that her grades are due to lack of effort, which would be absolutley correct. Grace may not be smart in class, but she has street smarts. She loves reading and writing. She's quiet when she's reading but can be the loudest person in the room when she wants to be. She is usually nice but terribly arrogant and cocky. She thinks very highly of herself even though others may not. Most of all, Grace is a partier. She parties on every Friday and Saturday. If there's a house party, she's at it. She tries not to sneak out at night to hang out with friends, but is always tempted. Grace could also be called a social butterfly. Most people either like her, or pretend to like her because they are afraid of her, (which can always be a bad thing.) Grace loves Quidditch and wish she had talent in the field but doesn't do well when it comes to sports. She loves flying. She gets such a rush from it. She doesn't do well when people confront her with things and tends to get carried away when she's angry. She also loves drama and gossip which she knows is terrible but it's such fun to talk about people. It creates such enteratinment. Grace has had past relashonships with guys, but they never last. She's a romantic and is always looking for "Mr. Right". She always thinks that this guy is too shy, and this one's too smart, etc, etc, etc. She know's she'll find him eventually, just like she finds all the right things, eventually.
Brief History: Grace grew up with her muggle father, witch mother, and two sisters. Her older sister Diana, was an overachiever and was Head Girl when she finished at Hogwarts. Diana is about 8 years older than Grace. Her younger sister, Meghan, is very young, only 4 1/2 years old. She's loud and fun and Grace loves seeing her. Her mother went to Durmstrang and met her father on a trip to Ireland in her last year there. Her parents kept in touch and spent time together after they finished school. They finally got married and her mother moved to Ireland. After Grace's sister was born, and her mother was pregnant with her, the whole family moved to the middle of Dublin. Grace doesn't have any extended family. Most of them died when they were middle aged. Both her parents are only children, so she has no cousins. She's grown up relying on her parents, sisters and of course, herself.
Important Relationships: Grace is incredibly close to her father. They get along very well and are very alike. Grace is almost like a clone of her father when he was younger. The red hair, freckles and green eyes are shared by both of them. They have all sorts of talks and have much in common. Grace always said when she was little that she wanted to marry her daddy because she loved him so much. Grace has alot of friends and loves to spend time with them. She misses her friends back in Dublin dearly, because she grew up with all of them. Hogwarts kids are nothing like Muggle children. But she loves all her friends the same.
Strengths/Weaknesses: Sometimes Grace feels like she has too many weaknesses. Transfiguration, Potions, and Divination are her worst classes. She does better in her Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms classes. Grace is an excellent flyer but horrible at sports as mentioned before. She does well when it comes to arguing or fighting with someone, especially with her wand. She also feels that making friends is her best subject ( mentioned earlier that people may be friends with her for the wrong reasons.)
Likes/Dislikes:Grace likes to dance and party (obviously) and loves to hang with friends. Contrary to popular belief, she loves to read and write even though she doesn't do well in her classes. She also loves all types of animals, especially those known to the Muggle world. Oh, and she adores brownies with mint chocolate chip ice cream. Grace dislikes all types of vegetables and fish. She also hates when people disrespect her and stereotype her. She hates makeup and working hard to look pretty. ( She thinks it's very annoying and stupid.)

Roleplay Sample: Grace carefulle placed one coat of her pink lipgloss across her lips. She usually didn't put on makeup but she wanted to look good for her first day of the year. She was going back to Hogwarts for her 6th year in a row. She was excited, more than excited. She couldn't stop smiling. She would get to see all her friends and the train ride is always fun exchanging summer break gifts and catching up with the newest gossip.
" Grace, darling, are you almost ready? We need to leave for the train soon." Grace's father hollored up the stairs.
She took one last look in the mirror and smiled to herself. She was pretty enough she thought. "I'll be right down, Pop!" She grabbed her last suitcase and zoomed down the stairs, almost tripping on her new uniform. Her Mum had bought them for her as a "beginning of school" gift. She felt gorgeous and new in every way. She knew that this year would be different than any other year.
As Grace and her family left the house, she pat her dog, Zippy, on the head and checked her watch. They were actually on time for once. That was new. She was excited and happy but at the same she could feel her stomach do a flip flop over and over again. She didn't know if people would have changed. She didn't know if they would stop liking her. She was used to be a social butterfly and she definitley did not want that to change.
A few hours later, her car stopped in front of the train station. She gave her father a long goodbye. " Write me everyday and tell me how you are. You know we can always talk through letters. I love you Grace." her fathe said. " I love you too Pop." Grace replied. She and her mother walked thorugh the giant doors into the station. She came to platform 9 3/4 and they discreetly crosses the barrier. As soon as Grace saw all the witches and wizards, she felt almost twice as nervous as before. She saw tons of people and trunks and suitcases and animals. She was happy to be back to the familiar platform. But she was also scared. Scared for the coming year. She knew she would have to work more, and party less.
The train blew it's final whistle. Grace's things were loaded onto the train with the help of her mother.
" Grace, darling. I know we don't get along that well, and I know I push you alot, but I do love you dear. You have a wonderful year, sweetie." Grace's mother said nevously. Grace could tell her mum was on the verge of tears. " It's okay Mum. I'm okay and I love you too." Grace replied. "Thanks."
Grace climbed onto the train just in the knick of time. She scrambled into a cart crammed with her friends. But before she started talking about her summer, she looked out the window at her mother, who was in tears, as usual. Her mother was very emotional and Grace knew it. She smiled her widest smile and blew her mom a kiss.
At that instant the train started to move.
