Identification Cards
All of age wizards and witches (seventeen and older) are required to carry a Ministry sanctioned ID card at all times and that must be shown to any Ministry Employee upon request. Failure to show your card will result in a fine and time in a local jail house.
Furthermore, ID cards will need to be shown for any travel and the purchase of any apothecary or herbology items. Failure to provide your ID will result in the lack of being able to travel or purchase said items.
ID cards may be obtained in the following locations between the hours of 7am and 6pm:
Ministry of Magic - Hit Wizard Office
Daily Prophet Headquarters - Diagon Alley
Post Offices - all
The following information must be brought with you:
Certificate of birth
Official wand certificate (obtain one at Ollivander's)
Proof of residential address
Proof of profession/job

Curfews
All citizens are strongly encouraged to be in their homes by seven-thirty in the evening. Shops in Diagon, Knockturn, Hogsmeade and other heavy traffic areas are to close their doors at six in the evening with the exception of pubs which must apply for, and pay for, a certificate of extension.
All other shops in outlying areas are encouraged to adhere to the six o'clock closing time.
Any Diagon, Knockturn, or Hogsmeade shop not closed by six will be first warned, then fined and, as a last resort, closed.
Travel Restrictions
ALL TRAVEL OF MORE THAN 100 MILES MUST BE APPROVED BY THE TRAVEL ADVISORY BOARD!
Travel within the UK (under 100 miles) via normal mode (apparation, floo and broom) may continue with normalcy, though all citizens are encouraged to let friends and/or family know their plans for any travel of further than a twenty mile radius.
Portkey Travel: In order to travel by portkey, you must file for your trip at least one week prior. You must bring in the object you will use as the portkey for thorough examination and an official will perform the portkey charm. Any tampering with the portkey afterwards will result in a heavy fine.
Travel Out of the UK: Travel plans must be filed a month in advance. All items that are taken with you or brought back into the UK are suject to search and seizure.
Apothecary and Herbology Purchases
All items purchased that can be used in any potentially dangerous or illegal potion are subject to a tax of 6 sickles. Furthermore, any ingredients purchased are to be logged by the shopkeeper.
