Physical Description: Tobais stands at about 5'9" and views the world from dark brown eyes, somehow missing out on the silvery-blue eyed gene that is rather a trademark in the Haddock line. He is far more, in facial features and build, like his mum than his dad which suits him just fine. He keeps his dark hair trimmed neatly above the ears and never lets the back get even close to brushing along his collar, and though he goes for the just rolled out of bed look on weekends, during school he could be a poster boy for how to dress in uniform.
He has started to grow into his hands and feet and has managed to lose the akwardness which he used to carry himself with. He has developed a confidence and a bit of a swagger that were groomed by both becoming a Prefect and the the Captain of the Slytherin team. Still, he has rather larger hands than average and often is unsure of just what to do with them.
In style of dress, he leans towards the wizarding wear though, he does have a bit of a weakness for some of the more comfy Mugglewear and will, on occasion, don a pair of jeans or a sweatshirt. Still, he is mostly to be found in a pair of slacks and a button up when not sporting robes.
Personality Description: On the surface, Tobias comes off as a very charming individual, just the type that a professor or adult would trust with much responsibility and he has, in fact, proven that he can handle more responsibility than most. However, his reasons for doing so are often in conflict with the reasons that an authority figure would hope for. He has learned that the more one behaves in accordance with acceptable behavior, the fewer restrictions one has placed before them. Thus, he spends much time working to make sure that everyone views him as the wizard to come to when you are in need of a trustworthy individual. He has, through this, gained friendships of many different students and has gained the respect of more than one professor.
This faade, however, fades once he is alone which is how he prefers it. Hanging around with others drains his energy and he would much prefer to remain alone reading or contemplating his own existence in this world. Its not that he is outright unfriendly to others as he will, with only slight hesitation, engage in conversation or the like with others. It is this duplicitious nature that pushed him from the commons of Ravenclaw into that of Slytherin.

His years were filled with much fun and love from his mother, almost to a smothering degree, really. Unlike his brother, Tobias was raised and coddled over by his mother, the governess having been excused once Elphais was firmly ensconced within the halls of Hogwarts.
His mothers love of books and of propriety were both instilled into the young Tobias and when he received his letter to Hogwarts, it was expected he would enter into the Ravenclaw house like the vast majority of the Haddock family. When he was, instead, sorted into Slytherin, there was much brow raising back at home. His sorting into Slytherin, though surprising to his family, wasn't so to him.
As far as Tobias was concerned, being in a house that was not his brothers was perfectly fine with him. He found that his housemates and he had much in common and he slipped into his house and new life without a hitch.
It wasnt until the summer just before the start of his fourth year that anything of vast note occurred in his life. His father was one of many who were killed in a bloodbath in Diagon Alley perpetrated by a man whose name had been whispered under the breath of many for years. The death of his father was hard and he is still dealing with the repercussions of it. Most notably in that, over the Christmas break of his fifth year, he met a man his mother introduced as a friend'.
Fifth Year
During fifth year, much happened in the life of young Tobias. He recieved, over the summer, a prefect letter and started out his fifth year with the pride of a shiny badge on his chest. If he had been surprised, it never showed. Truly it had been expected as almost every Haddock in his line had pinned the badge to his chest with pride. Now, he has only to look towards the coveted Head Boy badge - and he has every intention of gaining it.
He also was given the lofty position of Quidditch Captain, though the year was wrought with far more disappointment for him in that area than he had wanted. Slytherin didn't simply not get the Cup, but they came in at the very last.
In his personal life, his friendship with Mack Raelene - something that had always rather puzzled some of his friends (notably Regulus and Sophie) become something else altogether. After Christmas break, he and Mack became an official, if secret, couple. Stolen moments were what they looked for and it is entirely possible that those moments were really what Tobias liked about the whole relationship. It was after a long talk with his best mate, Reggie, that he realized he had made a huge mistake in dating the girl and so, towards the end of the year he broke up with her - but not until after he had lost his virginity to the girl.
But his year was not to end on that note. Instead it was to end with the train ride. Inferi and Death Eaters boarded; he discovered that his older brother, Elphais, was a DE and, for the first time in years, the two brothers began to try to work out their differences.
Ah, but it didn't end there, either. For the Hookum family was invited to Peny-cwm-cuic Hall and there he and the young Slytherin lass were betrothed, much to the surprise of both. Tobias must now face a year that may prove to be one of much challenge and growth.
Sixth Year
Important Relationships:
Elphais Haddock: His older brother and his arch nemesis. For reasons that Tobias has never been able to discover, Elphais has despised him. Though he brushes this off like it makes no difference, as he ages he finds himself wishing for a close relationship with his brother, more so now that he has no father in his life. However, since discovering his brother is a DE, things have started to change for the better.
Regulus Black: His best mate. The two share remarkable similarities in their view of life and have become good friends through both that and their mutual love of Quidditch.
Suezette Belmont (NPC): A ten year old French pureblood and very likely to become his betrothed before the summer hits. Needless to say, this does not sit well with Tobias. And, much to Tobias's relieve, the betrothal never went through.
Pamela Haywood: Torturing her is utter bliss for Tobias. She's an easy target and it amuses him.
Abner Bloom: Particularly since the incident at the lake last term, he can't stand the kid. That he rather seems to watch out for Pamela makes him all the more irritating.
Caelin Cartney: Not bad for an occasional snog and she's not so bad on the eyes, either.
Mack Raelene: His first serious girlfriend and the girl he lost his virginity to. He despises her now.
Daisy Hookum: His betrothed. He is disgusted.
Sophie Ruzicka: He has a load of respect for the girl.
