Now, showered and shaved and looking in a much better state than he usually had as of late, he arrived, with a pop, into the alleyway near the library. His steps only faltered when he wondered if she'd been getting his daily flowers; she'd never even responded to those.
Swallowing, he rubbed a hand over his close shaven head and pushed through the doors of the library. It didn't take him long to find where she was and then the butterflies came at full force. He stepped back just as she looked in his direction and watched her from between the cracks in a case of books. As he did he felt an idiot. He was Leathan Collier - a man who faced down Death Eaters on a near daily basis. A man who'd been attacked by Inferi.
A librarian couldn't scare him.
And yet, she did. Petrified him, for that matter.
Setting his jaw, he finally forced himself into the open and took a seat at a table and there, at that seat, he watched her waiting for her to look his way.
